Octagon Fibres and Chemicals or better known by one of its brands, Aqua, is a leading national paints and coatings company and a major producer of specialty chemicals.
Its origin can be traced back to one of the illustrious business pioneers of Bangladesh, Late Serajuddin Ahmed.
He founded Elite Paints in 1952 and was responsible for setting up businesses in banking, construction, garments, insurance and many more.
Based on differences in strategic direction, his eldest and youngest sons decided to launch the Aqua Paints brand in 2005.
