After liberation while the Government of the Netherlands recognized Bangladesh on the first place among present EU countries, a Dutchman namely Mr. Victor Weijnberg arrived in then Bangladesh with entrepreneurial venture and rendered endeavors to identify potential public sectors for momentous supplement to the new Government through business combination.

Mr. Victor Weijnberg through his dynamic enthusiasm recognized a large number of sectors and on the first instance established Unicorn Bangladesh Limited in 1972 adhering to the procedural requirements, protocol, as well as rules of business of the Government of Bangladesh (GOB).
