Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) – country’s first and only Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) institution, has stepped into its 7th year of functioning. As part of its 6th anniversary celebration, a Seminar on “Doing Business Index: ADR in Effective Enforcement of Contracts” was held on Saturday, 7th October, 2017 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka. The Seminar was presided over by Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman BIAC.

BIAC Advisory Service Fee- 5,000 to 10,000/-
BIAC provides Advice on ADR in contracts/ Agreements prior to finalisation and any other aspects of ADR
BIAC Assessment Service
Assessment Fee- Tk. 5,000 /-
BIAC assesses contracts and provide opinion on dispute settlement possibilities and steps to be followed
Mediation:
Registration Fee- Tk. 20,000 /-
Mediator’s Fee- Tk. 5,000 /- to Tk. 50,000 /- per hour
Arbitration:
Registration Fee- Tk. 20,000 /-
Administrative Fee- Tk. 30,000/- + (Schedule 1 of BIAC Arbitration Rules 2011)
Arbitrator’s Fee- Tk. 5, 00,000/- + (Schedule 1 of BIAC Arbitration Rules 2011)
